How to play Guess and Write

A quick overview of a round. Please refer to the booklet for the complete rules.

Players ready to play
1) Choose a referee among the players. Everyone gets a sheet and a pencil. The referee starts the sand timer.
A card is passed secretly
2) The referee gives a card containing a word to the player who will be the clue giver for this round, without showing it to the other players.
A player asks a question
3) The clue giver helps the other players guess the word using clues without saying the word or any of its letters.
Players answer with clue words
4) When a player guesses the word, the referee awards 5 points to that player, as well as to the clue giver.
Players write their answers before time runs out
5) All the players except the referee write the word on their paper. When the time is over, the referee checks the all written word and gives 10 points for each proper written word.
Scoreboard with points
6) We are starting a new round with a different referee and a different clue giver. Once all the rounds have been played, the winner is the one with the highest score.
